Mishpatim: Judgements

Torah Portion:  Exodus 21:1-24:18

Gospel Portion:  Matthew 26:20-30

Mishpatim, Hebrew for "Judgements" starts off with Judgements, or 'Ordinances' for how YHVH's (God's) people are to conduct themselves when sin happens.  Some top that are addressed are freedom, injury and theft and protecting the vulnerable!

How to Use This Study Plan

Our weekly study plans are designed to make Bible reading a tangible experience.  Every activity is designed to bring the Bible to life and encourage curiosity and conversation.  For this weeks adventure, we have a prep plan that includes a grocery list, a themed menu, a printable map to plot and visualize the geography, a sheet of discussion questions to engage conversation and a craft to create during the readings to make The readings tangible.  We hope these tools encourage and inspire you to dig deeper in your family’s Bible study time!

Printables

Here you will find a printable Prep Plan, Discussion Questions and, usually, an Interactive Map.   The Prep Plan has day by day instructions and a complete shopping list for activity and meals.  The Discussion Questions are designed to spark curiosity and a desire to dig deeper.  The printable map is not included in this week's study because YHVH keeps His people at His Mountain, to dive further into HIs Word.
