Torah Portion: Exodus 10:1-13:16
Gospel Portion: John 19:31-37
Bo, Hebrew for "Come", goes through the final 3 Plagues: Locusts, Darkness and Death. We also see the first Passover and YHVH‘s (God’s) plan to deliver his people out of Pharaoh’s hand.
In John we read about Yeshua (Jesus), the Passover Lamb.
Our weekly study plans are designed to make Bible reading a tangible experience. Every activity is designed to bring the Bible to life and encourage curiosity and conversation. For this weeks adventure, we have a prep plan that includes a grocery list, a Passover-themed menu, a printable map to plot and visualize the geography around Egypt, a sheet of discussion questions to engage conversation and a craft to create during the readings to fully understand the depth of destruction. We hope these tools encourage and inspire you to dig deeper in your family’s Bible study time!
Here you will find a printable Prep Plan, Discussion Questions and Interactive Map. The Prep Plan has day by day instructions and a complete shopping list for activity and meals. The Discussion Questions are designed to spark curiosity and a desire to dig deeper. There is no map this week, since there is no movement this week! Check out last weeks Nile project in the “files” section if you missed it!
Part 2 of this activity goes through the final 3 plagues. If you missed Part 1, you can find it here.
